Who are we?
Rational IP is a patent and trade mark attorney firm focused on delivering commercially useful intellectual property advice to technology and media companies.
We are based in Shoreditch and we work with many local tech start-ups, as well as more established technology companies and digital agencies.
What do we do?
We build strong, defensible, and intelligent intellectual property portfolios for innovative companies by using patents to secure key ideas, trade marks to protect valued brands, and design rights to cover artistic creations.
We build portfolios to help you:

- defend against allegations of infringement
- deter competitors
- improve your company value for exit
Why do we do it?
We come from software and media backgrounds. We are passionate about the sector, the people, and the exciting and clever concepts that are developed.
